How lessons work (online)

Lessons take place online (usually via Zoom) – a link will be sent ahead of time, and lessons run in real-time so students can ask questions and work through material together.

Shared workbook approach – both teacher and student use the same workbook, allowing them to follow along side-by-side and work through exercises collaboratively during the lesson.

Interactive and visual learning – students may occasionally be asked to hold their work up to the camera to share progress, and the teacher may also demonstrate examples in the same way when helpful.

Homework to build independence – optional homework may be set between lessons. Completing it is strongly encouraged, as it helps reinforce learning and develop independent working skills. Lesson time focuses on ensuring understanding, accuracy, and good technique, while homework allows students to practise applying these skills on their own.

Additional resources via Dropbox – a range of helpful materials and resources are shared with students through Dropbox, giving them ongoing access to support their learning between lessons.
